The problem:
When first starting Level 2 (Thailand) if the user is swimming around underwater and moves into the area near to the closed underwater located around the bottom of the cliffs to the right, and then moves through the level normally, when they reach the room beyond the area with the lone tree where Lara uses Thor's Gauntlet for the first time, the lever/horizontal pole that is used to raise the door to complete the level is missing.
Workaround:
Load a save at the start of Level 2 (as long as the player did not previously swim into the passageway) or load a save prior to level 2 and then simply follow the steps below.
To avoid the problem:
1. When starting Level 2 underwater, DON'T swim into the passageway against the cliffs to the right shown towards the right hand side of image #1.

2. Instead, simply move to the ledge that leads up the cliffs shown in images #2 and #3 and continue to play through the level.

3. Upon reaching the room beyond the area with the lone tree where Lara uses Thor’s Gauntlet for the first time, the pole will now be in the correct position, as seen in images #4 and #5.
